Join us on Sundays

Where?

We are now welcoming people into our services in person, without the need to book. Singing is allowed. However, there are still some restrictions, as we gradually return to normal.

Please give you contact details for track and trace.

Please wear a face mask and observe social distancing while moving about. Once seated, masks can be removed, if you wish.

We also have a separate “safe space” with a live-link to the service. If you sit here we request that you observe social distancing, wear a mask throughout the service and do not sing.

Please contact us if you have any questions.

Our Sunday services are also broadcast live on our YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/basingstokebaptist) starting at 10.30 am. Recordings can be watched later on YouTube, or listened to below.

Normally we meet every Sunday morning at our church building on Gershwin Road in Brighton Hill, Basingstoke, RG22 4HL. If you drive we have plenty of parking on-site or alternatively the Number 1 bus stops right outside the church. We also have Sheffield cycle racks.

When?

Our service begins at 10.30am and we aim to finish before 12noon with a chance to grab a hot drink afterwards and chat with others.

What Happens?

During the service there will be contemporary worship music, a relevant Bible-based talk and opportunity for prayer and testimony (hearing people’s stories of God at work in their lives). After the service there is plenty of time to get to know people if you wish. Our gatherings are relaxed and you’re free to engage as little or as much as you like.

What Do I Wear?

Our services are informal and there is no need to dress up or act in a certain way – we want you to be yourself, so come as you are.

What About My Kids?

We have a full children’s programme for ages 0-16 years. All of our kids and youth workers are trained and DBS checked for your peace of mind. Kids and youth start off in the main service and then after 20 minutes go to their relevant groups.

Following the Coronavirus restrictions, we have not yet returned to normal, so are not able to offer our usual children’s activities. Children are very welcome to stay in their family bubble.

We have a dedicated Welcome Team who would be delighted to show you around and provide further details if you decide to join us. We look forward to seeing you soon.
