At Basingstoke Baptist Church, we believe that we are meant to explore life and faith together, not on our own. Connect with others through our small mid-week groups, courses, serving opportunities and more.
Lifegroups
Our mid-week small groups lay at the very heart of our church and are just as important as our time together on Sundays. They have a simple purpose; helping people to grow in their relationship with each other and deepen their relationship with God.
Lifegroups tend to have no more than 12 people per group, so that we can truly get to know each other. Our Life Groups take place on a variety of days and times, either at the church or on-line. There’s probably one to suit you.

Alpha Course
Alpha is a series of fun and interactive sessions run over 10 weeks that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith. We start each evening by enjoying a meal together, followed by an interesting talk with time to then break into smaller groups to discuss the various topics raised.
No question is off limits and there is no pressure, no follow up and no charge.
We have great fun running our Alpha Courses and we’d love for you to join us.

Serving
The church is only able to run due to our amazing volunteers who give of their time and decide to help in various ways across the church.
As well as being a vital part of the church, we believe that the opportunity to serve can help us to build friendships and also a stronger relationship with God through our actions.
There are various ways in which you can be part of an amazing team, from helping to make coffees on Sundays to being part of our fabulous Welcome Team, from nurturing our children on their spiritual journey to using your talents with the music and tech teams. Whatever your interests, talents and gifts, we’re sure that we will be able to find a way for you to help should you want to.

Discovery Desserts
Have you recently started coming along to worship with us on Sundays? From time to time we invite those new to church to enjoy fellowship, dessert and coffee with us. Our minister Dave will explain the story of Basingstoke Baptist Church, our core values, our vision for the future and ways that you can get plugged-in to the life of the church. It’s a great opportunity to ask questions, get to know a few people and feel more like one of the family. Ask Dave or one of our Welcome Team if you want to know more.
