We believe that we are meant to explore life and faith together, not on our own. Connect with others through our small mid-week groups, courses, serving opportunities and more.
Our mid-week small groups lay at the very heart of our church and are just as important as our time together on Sundays. They have a simple purpose; helping people to grow in their relationship with each other and deepen their relationship with God.
Lifegroups tend to have no more than 12 people per group, so that we can truly get to know each other. Most Lifegroups tend to meet in peoples homes across Basingstoke, with a few meeting in the church premises. However, due to the current pandemic, these groups are meeting online. They take place on various days and times.
Further details can be found at our ‘Connect’ area in church or by emailing email@example.com
Alpha is a series of fun and interactive sessions run over 10 weeks that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith. We start each evening by enjoying a meal together, followed by an interesting talk with time to then break into smaller groups to discuss the various topics raised.
No question is off limits and there is no pressure, no follow up and no charge.
We have great fun running our Alpha Courses and we’d love for you to join us. Our next course will be starting soon on a Tuesday evening.
To register your interest or for further details email firstname.lastname@example.org, call 01256 324297 or speak to the Guest Services desk when you’re next in church.
The church is only able to run due to our amazing volunteers who give of their time and decide to help in various ways across the church.
As well as being a vital part of the church, we believe that the opportunity to serve can help us to build friendships and also a stronger relationship with God through our actions.
There are various ways in which you can serve, from helping to make coffees on Sundays to being part of our amazing Welcome Team, from helping with our children’s work to using your talents to help with the music. Whatever your interests, talents and gifts, we’re sure that we will be able to find a way for you to help should you want to.
For further information, please either email email@example.com or speak to Guest Services when you are next in church.
If you’re new to church, we invite you to have lunch with our senior minister, Dave Bishop and his wife Carol. Over lunch, they will explain the story of Basingstoke Baptist Church, our core values, our vision for the future and ways that you can get plugged-in to the life of the church.
We run these lunches when needed, so please either speak to the Guest Services team when you’re next in church or email firstname.lastname@example.org
