Basingstoke Town Chaplaincy

Life and work can be stressful and it can sometimes be helpful to talk to somebody else about what's on your mind. Basingstoke Town Chaplaincy has a team of trained chaplains to provide support to people in the workplace. They are not paid by the employer and anything discussed will remain confidential. While all the chaplains are all committed Christians, they are there to support everyone, whether Christian, of another faith, or no religion.

200 years after William Carey set out for India in 1792 the Baptist Missionary Society he founded continues to support Christians as they continue to spread the good news across the world.

The BMS has partnerships with over 30 countries on four continents, Asia, Africa, Europe and Central and South America. The work is diverse and varied with BMS missionary personnel involved in evangelism, church planting, theological education, Sunday school work as well as medical, educational, literature, development and agriculture. BMS has over 200 workers serving overseas.
