Tea, coffee and friendly company is available for all parents.
Aims
- To
provide a safe and stimulating environment within a Christian framework for
babies and toddlers where they can learn to socialise with other children
and adults.
- To
provide a friendly and comfortable, low cost meeting place for the carers
of young children, where they can relax and make new friends.
- To form and nurture relationships with families
from Brighton Hill and the local area.
- To have the opportunity of improving our own
relationships and learning new skills, as we work together as a team.
The Nest
Breast Feeding Support Group
The Nest is part of First Steps. A qualified Breastfeeding Network Supporter, who is part of the First Steps
team, is present to offer information and support for breastfeeding Mums and Mums-to-be.
The Breastfeeding Network (BfN) aims to be an independent source of
support and information for breastfeeding women and others:
- Promote breastfeeding and a greater understanding thereof.
- Collect and disseminate information on breastfeeding and baby and infant nutrition.
- Provide information and support to parents on the feeding of babies and infants.
